Patrick Kaye is responsible for Asset Finance for Credit Suisse across Asia Pacific. He has more than 24 years of experience in principal finance, asset-based lending and securitization, including nearly 17 years in APAC.
Patrick’s principal clients are non-bank financial platforms, and he has financed an array of asset classes, including consumer loans, residential and commercial mortgages, SME loans, leases, franchise receivables, equities, structured credit products, non-performing loans, transportation assets, royalties, and infrastructure.
Patrick has negotiated asset management joint ventures with banks and governmental entities and led the design and build-out of start-up lenders, including a mortgage banking platform and an asset-backed commercial paper conduit. He has acted as advisor or financier in connection with the sale/purchase of non-bank financial operating platforms and substantial loan portfolios.
Patrick received an MBA with Honors in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an AB in History and Philosophy from Duke University. He serves on the Board of Governors of the American Club of Hong Kong. He has served as Co-Chair of the Securitization and Structured Credit Committee of the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association.
